Digital Marketing Copywriter
THIS POSITION CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE WITHIN THE ZIONS BANCORP FOOTPRINT
This is a new team which will create a data driven strategy for the Digital Marketing Center of Excellence (COE). You’ll be part of an enterprise wide digital marketing effort to meet our customers where, when, and how they want.
This is an overview of the responsibilities:
• Responsible for the management of digital marketing copy which includes both ongoing programs and ad hoc support for product launches and campaigns.
• Responsible to support strategy on creative copy for digital communications.
• Understand how content strategy aligns with SEO objectives and marketing goals, applying these principles to content development.
• Support strategy, creative content, data capture and database management, sales integration and tracking.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners including management of external partners.
• Act as a liaison between bank lines of business and the digital marketing group to ensure that all content is current and accurate.
• Understand wide array of digital marketing channels.
• Create, develop and manage content for organizations web presence which requires working with content management software.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, product manager and creative team to create original digital content for website and social channels.
• Maintain excellent working relationships with vendors, customers and employees.
• May be asked to perform other duties according to needs of the team.
• Requires a Bachelors’ degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or a related field and 4+ years in digital marketing/communications strategies, analysis, development and implementation or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements. Experience in the banking/financial services industry a plus
• Extensive knowledge of digital marketing channels and communications strategies, marketing development and deployment, campaigns and project management.
• Ability to perform marketing research.
• Ability to deploy and track communication projects.
• Advanced skills in copy editing various types of web content ranging from general text content to specialized digital content.
• General knowledge of the banking/finance industry.
• Strong analysis, client relations, writing and communication skills.
• Detail and customer oriented with good multi-taking, organizational ability to meet established deadlines.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships.
• Strong knowledge of software programs including Microsoft Office, Adobe Experience Manager, and SEO tools.
