Retail Support is a group of Regional Floating Tellers who support various branches in the greater Salt Lake City area.
 
You’ll get the opportunity to work in various Zions Bank Financial Centers which will expose you to various employees and departments throughout the company and help you gain vital industry experience.
 
The qualified applicant will:
  • Be responsible for accurately processing debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies & procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record
  • Identify and address client needs by providing a variety of services which may include opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activating ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
  • Identify and maximize cross-sell opportunities through exploring customer needs.
  • Resolve clients needs either through direct personal action or referral to alternative branch or bank resources.
  • Assist customers at the drive-through window
  • Greet people warmly and direct them to appropriate bank personnel
  • Report suspicious activity
  • Perform other duties as assigned
 
Flexible work schedule as long as it meets the following requirements:
  • At least two days of availability Monday – Friday
  • Any day of availability Monday – Friday must be at least five hours of consecutive availability that either starts at 8:00 am or ends at 6:00 pm.
  • Saturday availability is mandatory 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (employees may not be scheduled to work every Saturday; Saturday scheduling is done on a rotation)

 

 

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience. 
  • Demonstrated skills in use of a computer – required to pass an on-line skill assessment
  • Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
  • Must have good balancing and customer service skills
  • Ability to cross-sell bank products based on client needs.
