THIS POSITION CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE WITHIN THE ZIONS BANCORP FOOTPRINT


This is a new team which will create a data driven strategy for the Digital Marketing Center of Excellence (COE). You’ll be part of an enterprise wide digital marketing effort to meet our customers where, when, and how they want.


This is an overview of the responsibilities: 


• Manage all aspects of digital design, website changes and working with internal web development teams to provide support on new digital efforts.

• Assist in driving the strategy of current and future digital designs and offerings by advocating for user needs and building elegant and intuitive user interactions.

• Work with various departments on development, design, updating and deployment of designs.

• Work with internal development teams on page development, design and providing new layout for launching new websites.

• Conduct qualiative user research to test viability of new designs through various research methods such as usability testing, surveys, field tests, and interviews.

• As part of design research, may build personas and customer journey maps.

• Responsible for creating landing pages, banners, and other online projects and marketing needs.

• Responsible for content administration related to various company Internet and Intranet properties.

• Execute various aspects of production and publishing including digital retouching, image editing, special effects, file manipulation and layout.

• Interface with the information technology division as needed.

• May be asked to perform other duties according to needs of the team.

• Requires a degree in Graphic Website Design, Interactive Arts and Media, Computer Science or a related field and 2+ years of experience with internet/intranets graphics, web development, 2.0 Web applications, website analytical packages, ASP, ASP.NET, HTML, JAVA or other related languages. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.

• Extensive knowledge of internet/intranet systems, graphic design, web technologies and applications. 

• Experience with graphic design of websites, creating landing pages, banners and other online projects. 

• Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal. 

• Ability to create attractive and effective web pages. 

• Ability to meet deadlines and creatively solve problems. 

 Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite 3 or 4; expert proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design programs. 

• Ability to use animation programs (Flash, After Effects, etc.). 

• Understands principles, process and technical limitations of web development.

• Strong time and project management skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines. 

• Ability to work well within and across creative teams; self-motivated.
