Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Business Systems Analyst in Salt Lake City to join our Retail Digital team to help Zions digitally transform its banking and make a real impact in our industry. Customers want to interact with us differently and have very demanding expectations of their bank. FinTechs have also been propelling the industry forward. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for supporting our new and enhanced digital capabilities that create simple and delightful experiences for our customers.  

 

  • Responsible for various system functions, including: Incident, change, system and project management.
  • Responsible to troubleshoot websites, applications, and user access issues.
  • Documents incident items and escalates as necessary.
  • Coordinates issue resolution and validation of service restored.
  • Assists in troubleshooting servers, transmissions, and firewall access issues.
  • Performs application troubleshooting and makes recommendations for improvements and changes.
  • Works with vendors as needed to resolve issues.
  • Responsible to facilitate new or enhanced change management requests and post change validations.
  • Schedules change controls.
  • Responsible to configure installed software on all environments, perform fine tuning and application documentation.
  • Assist with Disaster recovery testing.
  • Responsible for application and infrastructure monitoring, coordinates with enterprise management and business unit on assigning and updating alerts.
  • Coordinates report reprints and monitors job processing.
  • May performs project management functions as either a project manager or team member.
  • 24 X 7 On Call responsibilities for various applications.
  • Other duties as assigned 
  • Requires a Bachelor's in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field
  • 2+ years experience in business analysis, processes, procedures, project management, multiple technologies, frameworks, etc or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Working knowledge of business systems and applications, incident and change management, project and systems management.
  • Working knowledge of department specific processes and procedures.
  • Requires solid analytical, organizational, trouble shooting and problem solution skills.
  • Ability to elicit, gather and analysis data.
  • Solid presentation and technical and non-technical communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to function in a consultative role.
  • Ability to work with vendors.
  • Requires solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of various software programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, Unix, SQL, etc.
