Zions Bancorporation is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Human resources team located in Salt Lake City, Utah.


The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:


• Provide a variety of administrative and staff support services to the Recruiting, Compensation and HR Business Partner teams.

• Perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties to include creating and maintaining Word and Excel Documents, Power Point presentations, calendaring, processing mail, answering phones, and greeting visitors. 

• Assist in preparation and control of records, statistics, and reports regarding operations, personnel changes, etc.

• Administer programs, projects, and/or processes specific to Human Resources.

• Serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities, and operations.

• Assist with policy and procedure issues for the department and management.

• May be asked to assist with other duties.

Who should apply? We want someone who has:


• At least a High School diploma or Equivalent and 6+ years of administrative, office, clerical, word processing and other directly related departmental experience. A two- year college degree preferred. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

• Expert knowledge of departmental functions, banking and/or departmental and administrative process and procedures.

• Excellent organizational, customer relations and communications skills, both verbal and written.

• Writing and editing skills. Able to compose written communications for emails, letters, news articles, and presentations.

• The ability to assist with policy and procedure issues for department management.

• Analytical ability to gather and summarize data for reports and find solutions to various administrative problems.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with a proven track record of the ability to work with and demonstrate discretion with highly confidential information.

• Efficiency and judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.

• Advanced MS Office and customer service skills.
